The same audit the web tool runs, exposed to AI agents as MCP tools. Your agent asks about a domain; it gets findings, per-nameserver status, and the referral walk — not a page to scrape.

MCP server

Streamable HTTP at https://ai.comglue.tech/mcp. Stateless, no session dance, no API key for the public tier. Point a client at it:

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "comglue": { "type": "http", "url": "https://ai.comglue.tech/mcp" }
  }
}

Tools

delegation_audit
Walks the delegation from the root servers and interrogates every delegated nameserver directly. Returns the faults a normal lookup is designed to hide — missing glue, lame delegations, unreachable nameservers, parent/child NS drift, SOA serial skew — plus a score and per-nameserver detail. Pass include_trace: true to include the full referral walk.
delegation_trace
Just the resolution path: every referral from the root down, which server issued it, and the glue it carried. Useful on its own, or after an audit to inspect the walk behind a finding.

Notes

Rate budget
Tool calls share the per-IP budget with the REST API — every audit spends real queries against third-party nameservers. Protocol handshakes are free. Authenticated org keys get a higher ceiling.
Failures carry evidence
An audit that cannot complete returns the partial report alongside the error rather than discarding it.
Same data, other shapes
The identical audit is available as JSON at /v1/delegation?domain=… and interactively on the audit page.
